Superbills
Dr. Denese does not take insurance but will send you a monthly itemized bill (“superbill”) with a list of services and commonly used billing codes. You can send this to your insurance company for partial and/or full reimbursement, depending on your plan.
Full payment is due at the time of service and processed through a secure portal. The next session will not be scheduled until the balance is zero.

Out of Network
Out of network options can allow you to see a provider who is a specialist and has more expertise in your specific problem area or mental health concern.
This flexibility can be incredibly beneficial for your therapeutic journey.
Additionally, you can have a wider range of options among various providers and choose a therapist who is more closely aligned with your personal values, cultural background, or religious beliefs, if that is important to you.
If your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, you might get some money back from your insurance company for session costs.
PPO/POS plans usually cover 60-80% of therapy expenses. Since each plan is different, check with your insurance provider to find out your specific coverage. Remember, Dr. Denese can't promise you'll get reimbursed.
If you are unsure about your out of network coverage, Dr. Denese encourages you to ask your insurance company directly about therapy coverage.

* How many sessions does my insurance cover per year?
* Does my plan have a deductible and if so, has it been met yet?
